My goal is to go to a new country every year. I also enjoy being a tourist in my own city. I am from the south side of Chicago. I am a first generation college student from Mexican immigrant parents. I also enjoy puzzles & reading!

Hello! My name is Jamie and I am currently a third year Social Work undergraduate at the National University of Singapore. This is my first time in the US and this is the coldest temperature I have ever experienced, because Singapore is hot and humid all year round. One thing about me is that I am a coffee lover and my go-to drink is hazelnut latte. I am really looking forward to forging friendships with both the local and international students!

My name is Yun. I am an exchange student from South Korea. I am a junior, majoring in psychology and biology. I like hanging out with friends even though I feel shy at first. Also I like dancing, that is why I was in a hip-hop dance club in Korea. I enjoy listening to K-Indie musics in my free time. This is my first time to the US and the state where I would like to visit the most is Alaska. I really want to share various cultural experiences and spend great time with international friends.

My name is Long and I am an freshman at the University of Illinois, studying Advertising. This is my second semester here at the U of I, as well as GLOBE. I enjoy films, music, photography, tennis and so on. I also like to hang out with my friends and discover new places like restaurants or recreation centres that we could go to. This semester, I hope to make new friendships and explore areas of the Champaign-Urbana region that I have not visited before.
