My name is Yasmine Gordon. I am a senior studying Economics. I participate in organizations related to business and consulting as well as social entrepreneurship and volunteerism on campus. I enjoy trying new foods, watching movies, trying new outdoor sports, and exploring music around the Champaign-Urbana area. I love to sing and songwrite, and I plan on spending time exploring and discovering local musicians/bands this year.

My name is Alicia and I am a third year undergraduate student of Global Studies, Spanish, and French. I just came back from a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain. I am both a U.S. and European citizen, and I love to learn languages! In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar and piano. I am a part of an A Cappella singing group on campus called Girls Next Door, and I am also working as a Campus Ambassador for a new student phone application called Moocho. I love to hang out at the different cultural houses on campus, such as La Casa Cultural Latina and do bilingual volunteer work around town. I hope to help you cultivate a love for UIUC and I know that I will learn so much from spending time together. I can't wait!

My name's Marnie - I'm an undergraduate, second year, bioveterinary science student here on an exchange from University of Liverpool, England. I am very much of the work hard play hard mindset, and like to do my best at school, but always have fun at the weekend and try new things whenever I get a free moment. Socialising, adventures and making the most of being here by going to as many places and possible etc are on the top of my agenda alongside learning about new people and cultures.

My name is George Srour. I am a sophomore from Sydney, Australia and am completing a dual degree in Actuarial Studies and Finance. I enjoy socializing and aim to get the most out of my exchange experience, hoping to make some international friends. I really enjoy playing video games, especially multiplayer games, such as Destiny 2 or Fortnite. I am definitely an open-minded person with a constantly changing world-view, who enjoys learning from others.

Hello, I am Alexander, from Chile, and I am an Industrial Engineering student who is in his final year. I like meeting people and to share experiences. I strongly believe that communication is essential in all aspects of our life. This will be my first time as a student in the USA, and I am really excited about that. In my spare times I like doing sports, reading interesting books and going for some beers with my friends. Recently, I've been traveling around South America by hitchhiking, and definitely is something you have to do someday. I consider myself a loyal and friendly person who wants to learn as much as possible of this world and its people.
