My name is Ziyuan Wei. I am a freshman in Statistics and Computer Science. I come from China and like to explore new places. I like music, sports, literature, science fiction, etc. I really enjoy the campus scene of many historical buildings and the artistic view of the whole area. Life is about sensing and growing up, which serves as a base for my love of exploration around. I like making friends and get to know different people and cultures, and really look forward to the time in GLOBE!

Hey Guys! My name is Benedikt, I study Business Administration at the WU Vienna and am currently in my third year (out of three). In my free time I like doing all kinds of sports, play video games or watch movies/shows. I am interested in all kinds of stuff, I love reading about financial topics or watching Bloomberg TV, but of course, I am also interested in more "fun" stuff like talking about shows, going out or enjoying a good glass of white wine.
I really look forward to meeting the group and I am already excited about all the events we're going to have in this upcoming semester!

My name is Emily Suits, and I'm a senior studying Actuarial Science. I enjoy doing outdoor things like bike rides and hiking, and anything fun with friends. I love meeting new people and trying new things with them (like restaurants on campus!) Last year was my first year at U of I, so I especially enjoy talking with new students since I was one so recently. I'm so excited to learn and build friendships through GLOBE!

My name is Alexander, but people usually just call me Alex. I'm an exchange student from Denmark. I'm on my third and last year of my undergrad degree in software engineering. I chose to study abroad at U of I, because I wanted to get the american college experience, and because you have a great computer science department here at U of I. My expectations were high, but I have not been disappointed. I love it already here. You will probably find me in either the computer science building, the gym or in a coffee shop the majority of the time this semester.

This is Davidson. I am currently studying business in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This would be my third year in college. I enjoy having fun with my friends in my free time, including gymming, balling or eating together. I am an opened-minded person, with a diverse background. I am born and raised in Taiwan, pursuing academics in Hong Kong. Therefore, I have both Taiwanese and Cantonese genes now in my blood. I hope that with the semester at U of I can incredibly enlarge my worldview of different cultural features, and become a more international person. Also, meeting friends and spending spare time together would be a really cool and interesting thing.
