My name is Teo. I was born and raised in the Philippines for a short time until I came to the United States. I'm going into my senior year as a Kinesiology major. I got into my major since I intend to pursue physical therapy as a career. This summer, I went to California for the first time with my sisters and also got to visit Yellowstone National Park. Besides taking naps all day, I tried to get back into skateboarding. Turns out I still suck, but it's fun! I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of new people and to just enjoy my last year at UIUC.

My name is Aaksa Nair. I'm a freshman undergraduate student in Bioengineering. I'm from India, but I was born and brought up in Dubai. I consider myself a social person and love being put in new situations with unique people I can learn from. I love to read and I have a deep-rooted love for food (especially all things chocolate). My name is Nereid. I am an exchange student from Hong Kong, currently majoring in Quantitative Finance in my home country. For the coming Fall, I will be admitted to the LAS college as a junior with focus on statistics, economics, and mathematics. I like to travel, hike and explore new stuff such as food and cultural activities. Recently, I started a new interest in scuba diving and would like to get certified soon. My name is Dana Haas. I am a senior in Global Studies with a minor in Portuguese. This will be my last semester at UIUC! I really enjoy learning languages. I know some Spanish and Portuguese and a little Chinese, and I would like to learn as many languages as I can. I am always ready to try new food (even though it can be hard because I'm a vegetarian!), and I love coffee and tea. I also enjoy spending time outside and visiting the parks in the Champaign-Urbana area. I'm excited to start another fun semester of GLOBE!
