My name is Naomi. I am a freshman majoring in Business Finance. I am not from America, I came from a country called Indonesia in Southeast Asia. This is my first time living abroad without my family. I would say I'm a friendly and sociable person. With this opportunity, I hope to meet and get to know as many people as possible as I also enjoy learning about other cultures.

The name's Ti, and I am a freshman majoring in Industrial Engineering. I am from Chiang Mai, which is a city north of Thailand. I enjoy hanging out with friends and also like to discuss history. I'm not much of a coffee person, as I enjoy drinking tea more, especially green tea. I think of myself as a friendly and talkative person. I also hope to meet and become friends with everyone in the group.

Hey guys! My name is Renee and I'm from New Zealand which is a tiny country in the southern hemisphere, but I am studying at the University of Melbourne in Australia. I've always wanted to experience that classic American college life which is why I'm at UIUC this semester. As for hobbies, I love going out with friends, watching movies and I try to stay healthy with regular gym sessions. I am really interested in getting to know the other students here and learning new things about the US!

Up until this current year I was a director for a volunteering RSO and my focus was on senior citizens. I have 7 pets and I like to watch animal videos in my free time.

Hi! My name is Laura. I'm 21 years old. I'm from the Netherlands and am here for 4,5 months to study communication. I live on campus in Sherman Hall. I like watching shows on Netflix, going to the beach and doing stuff with friends, like getting ice cream or frozen yogurt. I also like getting coffee at Starbucks or Espresso Royal. I'm nice, you'll see haha and I love helping out where-ever I can. I am really looking forward to learning about other cultures (like yours) and experiencing life outside of what I have known.
