Lily Lee

I am Lily, an exchange student from The University of Hong Kong, majoring in Actuarial Science. One of my interests is in music - I play the piano since age 3, I also play clarinet, guitar...And I love singing, especially in the shower :p I also engage in different types of sports activities. As a member of the Nike Training Club back in Hong Kong, I participated in group sports like yoga, HIIT and zumba twice a month, which I enjoyed a lot. So I consider myself as an outgoing connector, but sometimes a little bit rational, maybe due to my mathematical background. Nice to meet you and I hope we could spend every moment fruitfully.

My name is Evelyn Lai Jia Yi, you can call me Evelyn or Lai. I am a transfer student from Taylor's University in Malaysia. I start as sophomore in UIUC, major in actuarial science. I like hanging out with friends, no matter what activities, I am pretty cool with all of them! I like to took part in different organization to develop myself too!! I really enjoy spending time with people compare to staying alone at home. One fun fact about me that you might be interested will be I am a TAEKWONDO girl, although I didn't play much now. I play sports too! I consider myself as an outgoing, open and friendly people. In my life, friend does occupied quite an amount of places!

I am Percy. I am an undergraduate student from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in quantitative finance. I lived in Hong Kong since I was born and this is my first time studying aboard. I like swimming, playing piano and watching movies. I also enjoy traveling around to visit different places. My friends usually describe my as kind, helpful and listener. Through the program, I wish to meet different people and explore more about this place.

My name is Jiayi and I'm a senior in math and statistics. I'm from Beijing, China. I love listening to music and my favorite singer/band is Florence and the machine. The October that just passed, I went to their concert in Chicago which was such an amazing experience. Summer is my favorite season because I'm all about sunny days and trees. I have studied abroad in Singapore in my sophomore year and I like traveling. 2019 would be my third year studying French and second year doing bullet journal. I consider myself a good listener and I would love to learn something new about different cultures and interesting facts of everyone.

I'm Giana. I'm a sophomore studying history and anthropology. I am from a suburb of Chicago. I play tennis and I like to read. I also play the saxophone and love listening to music. I love being exposed to new styles of music, just like I love learning about new cultures and places. I am looking forward to meeting the many incredible people in GLOBE this semester. I know we are all going to have a fantastic time together

My Name is Joel. I am an undergrad student in Political Science and Sociology from Chicago Illinois in the United State of America. I started my third-year last fall 2018. I like going to the gym and reading manga and graphic comics during my free time. I consider myself as an individual that down to earth, treat everyone with respect, and overall tries to make people laugh. I love to learn about others own personal experiences within in this world and trying to make this world a better one for the next generation.
