Chuqiao Zhang

My name is Chuqiao (you can call me Chu for short:). I am a third year undergraduate student in Psychology, from National University of Singapore. I am easy-going, open-minded, and sociable. My interests are pretty varied, such as drawing/painting, doing sports, cooking, and travelling etc. I also really enjoy gaining new experiences and meeting people of different cultures and backgrounds. I am looking forward to learning from everyone and making more friends during my time here this spring.

My name is Wall. I'm a transfer student from Southeast University, China where I finished my freshman and sophermore year. I love playing basketball, the name Wall is from a NBA player called John Wall. I enjoyed a lot in the gym in this new campus. I hope to get well involved in the university as well as the community here.    

Adeline Tan

I am Adeline Tan and majoring in economics. I plan to minor in computer science since it's something I've always been interested in. I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee competitively. My new plan for 2019 is to go to gym at least 30 mins everyday. Fun fact : I don't eat vegetables & can't really speak chinese. (Although I'm a Malaysian Chinese) You can try to speak Chinese to me and I can learn!

Hi guys! My name is Anoushka, and I am one of the blue members this semester. I am a sophomore and am studying mathematics. I am originally from New Delhi, India and have been a member of GLOBE since my first semester at U of I when I was an Orange Member. I have had a wonderful experience and the opportunity to meet with wonderful people from all over the world and I am happy that I get the chance to carry on doing so through GLOBE. I enjoy reading, asian food ( love Bangkok Thai on campus), and coffee. I am a fan of classical music, and I play the piano. I like karaoke but with more people, and I like Espresso Royale for coffee and just to sit and study incase I do not want to go to a library. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you all!

My name is Milosz and I am a Finance major at the Gies College of Business. I am currently a junior. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, working out, biking, traveling, eating good food, and hanginging out with my friends. I look forward to getting to know all of you and making new memories this semester!

Hello! My name is Ricardo! I am a student in Food science and hospitality in my sophomore year. I love the arts in all it's forms. Though I'm not painter I love learning about history and find artistic outlet for myself in culinary. I love to read and am learning to play guitar. My favorite place on campus is Murphy's Pub or the Japanese House. I love learning about where people come from, how they grew up and what issues matter to them, especially while sharing a meal and a drink. I believe food brings us all closer together!

Hello! My name is Will. I am a junior undergraduate student studying English Secondary Education. My dream job is teaching English at a high school in schools-of-need in Chicago, Illinois. I grew up in the suburbs north of Chicago, and I have also lived in Wisconsin for a year. I enjoy reading comics, enjoying nature, listening to music, coffee, and ice cream. You can often find me studying or writing in the fancy rooms at the Illini Union. I can't wait to meet all of you soon and get to know you more!
